DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers/mobile application developers with server side logic.
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Design, development and deployment of web services based on different frameworks.
• Optimization of application back-end for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implementation of Security and Data Protection routines at the back-end.
• Design of databases and implementation of data storage solutions.

 JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• A bachelors degree in Computer Science with any additional certification that is relevant to the role and the expected skills proficiency listed below.
• At least 5 to 7 years of experience in live projects as back-end developers.
• A strong working back-ground in the following:
• Databases – MSSQL, MySQL, PosgreSQL, MongoDB – Administration, Management, Scaling and load management – both unified and distributed.
• Creation, enhancement and optimization of database schemas to represent and support business processes.
• Strong working knowledge of back-end programming & scripting languages – specifically Java, PHP, JS and its variations, Knowledge of additional languages and frameworks is an added advantage.
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one unified system.
• Data migration, transformation, conversion and scripting.
• Security technologies and protocols for both at the data level and the transactional level.
• User Authentication and authorization across multiple systems, servers and environments including session management in a distributed environment.
• Setting up and administering robust backup processes leveraging on code versioning platforms such as GIT etc.
• Server side Scripting, CSS pre-processors
• A clear understanding of multiple delivery platforms (desktop vs. Mobile) and also optimization routines
•        for each of such platforms.
• Implementation of automated testing scripts and unit tests for each of the application modules.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Basic understanding of later data management concepts such as bigdata, blockchain etc.
