Youth.SG is looking for a digital marketing intern!
Legit-ly surf the web for cat videos, scroll through feeds till you reach the end of everything new for the day, explore what is new and trending. These are just some of your daily duties. It is tough, isn’t it?
Here are four things you can expect from this internship
1. Manage our social media accounts and online communication channels
You get to learn the difference between managing your own Insta account and a brand’s Insta account. It’s same same but different. There are things to note like timing, audience behaviour, relationship, quality, quantity, tone, engagement, and about 18,000 more factors.
2. Market Youth.SG’s content
You get to preview our next big content and package it to meet our objectives. To do this, you will learn about SEO and SMM. Expect to be on Insta, Twitter, Facebook and our website's CMS a lot. You'll have many tabs open and utilise many different screens.
3. Measure and analyse data for content strategy
So you put in all that hard work. Now it's time to see what are the results of the marketing effort. You will learn to measure and analyse how well our content do and what factors lead to each result. Comb through existing data to quantitatively analyse Youth.SG’s user demographics and behaviour, across all our digital channels. The insights and suggestions from your analysis are integral to our monthly data reports. It will assist to serve as guiding factors for our content strategy.
4. Publicise our digital platforms
While we mostly exist online, sometimes we emerge from our cave and organise offline roadshows. You will be a key member of the team organising these marketing campaigns, and we love it if you propose your own ideas.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of design, photography and video-editing
- Working knowledge of HTML
- Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing strategies, such as SEO, etc. are advantageous
- Ability to deliver work within tight deadlines
- Meticulous with numbers and sensitive to data trends
- Internet & social-media savvy
- In touch with the youth scene and youth trends
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
