Job Description

The Role

You will support the Corporate Communications department in all aspects and assist the General Secretary & CEO in driving the organisation’s media engagement efforts and providing corporate communications support.

Job Description

  • Cover and report on major YMCA Events
  • Responsible for maintaining corporate brand guidelines in all communication materials across all departments in the organisation
  • Ensure timely production/submission/distribution of advertisement and collaterals
  • Plan and create digital marketing campaign on social media
  • Guide the concept and design of visual collateral e.g. brochures, posters, EDMs
  • Event support – includes working with photographers/videographers/media and design teams for on-site collateral
  • Ensure that the organisation’s website is updated regularly
  • Large projects include:
  • YMCA Flag Day
  • Annual Report & Annual General Meeting
  • YMCA Proms@ the Park
  • YMCA Giving Gala
  • YMCA Silver Fiesta
  • YMCA Charity Golf
  • Other ad-hoc projects include:
  • Pop-up events
  • Volunteer Awards Night
  • Volunteer Management Programme Commencement Ceremony (VSMP)
  • Citi-YMCA Youth for Causes Programme
  • University-YMCA (vetting of collaterals)
  • Christmas Project
  • Staff Welfare Events

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Good team player with great sense of creativity
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office and basic understanding of Adobe software like Illustrator, Photoshop etc
