The intern is responsible for providing day-to-day support to assist the Commercial team with the implementation of Brand, PR & Communications, and Loyalty and Digital Marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
Brand, PR & Communications, Loyalty and Digital Marketing
- Maintain an updated mailing list and database of hotel franchisees, owners and team members
- Consolidate, draft and distribute content for internal communications
- Collate, summarize and load contents into email marketing platforms (Mailchimp/Salesforce), and assist in Quarterly Check-In Newsletters
- Assist in proofreading and editing materials across all PR projects
- Assist in brand refresh projects, preparation of communications, brand assets, and materials
- Update brand asset library
- Support the team in reviewing and preparing copy for all brand and PR contents and projects, and coordinate translations with the translation house or copywriters
- Assist in developing impactful stories across all marketing and communications activities including print ad campaigns, advertorials and press releases
- Work closely with PR or media agency to coordinate KOL and media stays
- Conduct an APAC regional domain audit and assist on the transfer of ownership for external domains to the hotel group
- Coordinate with IT team and assist to maintain domain records upon purchase of new domains for hotel openings
Criteria
- A team player who delivers high-quality work
- Effective communicator
- Strong writing skills in English is a must
- Proficiency in Chinese is essential to assist in translation work
- Strong knowledge of utilizing survey platforms
- Working knowledge of MS Office Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong sense of creativity and attention to details
