We are now looking for a Digital Content Trainee to join our fast expanding team to provide personalised and exceptional travel experience to our roamers. This candidate will help to ensure that the content/articles use appropriate English as well as provide value to readers.
Digital Content Intern Duties and Responsibilities
The scope of work during the Work Attachment will include, but is not limited to:
- Plan & execute travel content for travel inspiration and social media consumption for each month.
- Compile monthly social media reports to track engagement & activity
- Conduct user research on trending travel topics in various destinations
- Write digital travel content
- Design & execute email newsletters
- Monitor key opinion leaders on social media platforms for opportunities to collaborate.
- Help index web pages on search engines for SEO purposes.
- Assist activities content team to perform content curation and publishing as well as price benchmarking.
- Assist in formatting, sourcing images from hotels and various attractions and places of interests for the travel content, and uploading the content to the website.
- Contribute to other team projects and initiatives, remaining flexible and willing to contribute.
Digital Content Intern Qualifications and Characteristics
- Resourceful and personable character who appreciates and works well in a culture of trust and candour
- Team player with initiative, willingness to learn, appreciate mentoring/knowledge sharing among team members and building a positive team culture
- Experience with creative & video editing software such as Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere or similar software) highly preferred
- Effective command of verbal and written English
- Social media-savvy
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Outstanding communication and time management skills
- Good interpersonal & communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambitious startup
- Prior experience in travel / e-commerce / startup environment is an added bonus
