WWF has teams of experts working to protect the natural resources that sustain and inspire us.

Together, we are creating a world where people live in harmony with nature. Join us. Because together, anything is possible.

WWF's Earth Hour

Starting as a symbolic lights-out campaign in Sydney (Australia) in 2007, WWF’s Earth Hour has grown to become the world’s largest grassroots movement for the environment, mobilizing millions to take action in over 190 countries and territories. It is an hour that unites the world. It empowers and inspires anyone to take part and harnesses the power of the crowd to create positive environmental impact.

Now going into its seventeenth year, Earth Hour continues to shine a light on climate change and nature loss - the two biggest environmental issues facing our planet today. The time for action has never been more critical. Earth Hour 2023 will encourage people around the world to switch off and speak up for nature - to stand in solitary for our one home.
