What You’ll Do
• Develop frontend features using React, building maintainable and performant web applications.
• Translate product requirements into polished UI components.
• Collaborate with backend developers and work with internal and third-party APIs, including integrations with AI/LLM services.
• Ensure applications are responsive, user-friendly, and accessible.
• Contribute ideas to improve the UX of our writing tools.
What We’re Looking For
• Strong frontend skills with React. Experience levels can vary; we value capability, curiosity, and momentum over years.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills and familiarity with modern frontend tooling.
• Use of AI as an accelerator, not a crutch: able to seamlessly switch to hands-on problem solving when it falls short or tops out, delivering code that’s solid and maintainable.
• You pick things up quickly and can go from idea to shipped feature without needing hand-holding every step.
• Excellent grasp of UI/UX best practices and a good eye for detail.
• Comfortable collaborating remotely and independently managing tasks, meeting goals and deadlines.
• Able to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Interest in EdTech or writing tools is a bonus.
• Experience with rich-text editing tools (Lexical is a plus).
• Experience with backend development or API integrations is a bonus but not required.
