Job Description

We are looking for passionate individuals to join our team of storytellers. If you love speaking and interacting to people and sharing information, or if you are keen to gain experience speaking to a live audience (could be physically or virtually), we want you! 

Roles and responsibilities: 

  • Undergo in-house training to familiarise with the tour products and adhere to company’s standards of a storyteller
  • Share stories of Singapore Singapore by bringing clients to various locations (physically or virtually)
  • Facilitate tours by being game masters, host and admin in both physical and virtual tours
  • Assist tour guide by helping with registration, logistics and interaction with guests 
  • Represent the company and interact with the audience in a professional and presentable manner
  • Assist in operational duties relating to tour (eg. logistical needs for specific tour)
  • Coordinate pre and post tour work

Learning outcomes and objectives

  • Gain industry knowledge and deeper understanding of tour operations & company processes
  • Competency in tour facilitation, tour management and effective team communication
  • Ability to interact with audience confidently and keep them engaged throughout the tour

Requirements

  • Current students studying mass communications or equivalent is preferred
  • Personable, visually presentable and speaks in a pleasant manner
  • Working experience in tourism-related industry is a plus
  • Comfortable being on screen and hosting virtually
  • Event hosting experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and computer literacy
  • Passionate about tourism
