Job Description

Merchandising Officer (1-year Contract)

  • Assist in buying and merchandising activities
  • Review historical sales records for accurate projection of sales
  • Conduct update on fashion trend, market surveys on competitors' products and pricing
  • Ensure Operations staff are updated on new products and assist in preview meetings prior to product launch
  • Work with Visual Merchandising on guidelines to achieve good visual presentation of the brands
  • Assist in monitoring merchandise turnover, promotional activities to boost sales and increase branding and customer awareness
  • Ensure no over/ under-stocking of inventory
  • Review and analyse sales performance of each style for future product sales


Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in Fashion Designing, Retailing, Marketing or related discipline
  • At least 1 year merchandising functions in the fashion retail industry
  • Proficient in MS Office eg. Excel
  • Able to start immediately
  • This position is a 1-year contract position
