Marketing Communications Assistant (Contract / Freelance)
Wilhelmsen Ships Service, Marine Products’ team is looking for a Marketing Communications Assistant (contract/freelance) who thrives in a challenging, exciting and fast-paced environment. As our Marketing Communications Intern, you will ideate, conceptualize, and develop compelling copy for a full range of marketing communication platforms.
You'll be exposed to various forms of copywriting and gain invaluable, hands-on experience by working with various global teams in different functional areas, as well as coordinating with external agencies in producing engaging content for marketing collateral.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing content strategy and customer-focused messaging
- Assist in content creation for internal and external channels, social media posts and marketing literature
- Brainstorm and conceptualise ideas for marketing campaigns and programmes
- Support the global technical solutions and marketing team by editing and proofreading marketing deliverables as needed
- Collaborate with external media agencies in producing marketing material
Our Requirements:
- Able to commit for at least 6 months to 1 year of service
- Preferably with 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience
- Major in public relations, communications, marketing, or advertising
- Proactive, resourceful, willing to learn and well-organised
- Able to distinguish and produce written texts with high readability
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
