Job Description

As an Engineering Intern at Wetec Pte Ltd, you will support our technical team in the setup, testing, and maintenance of instrumentation and monitoring systems across water, environmental and geotechnical applications. You will gain hands-on experience working with real instruments, sensors, field equipment, and data-acquisition platforms, supporting both in-house and on-site project activities. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site technical support, including maintenance, servicing and repair of equipment and systems.

  • Assist with installation, setup and commissioning of instruments at customer sites.

  • Conduct product demonstrations, system testing and basic user training.

  • Review technical specifications, drawings and pre-wiring details to support project preparation.

  • Understand customer application workflows to deliver timely and effective support.

  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements

  • Male candidate preferred

  • 6-month internship preferred

  • Local Polytechnic Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering (preferred)

  • Minimum GPA 3.2 and above (preferred)

  • Responsible, willing to learn, comfortable with hands-on technical tasks

  • Strong interest in field service, troubleshooting and customer interaction.

  • Good communication, problem-solving and learning attitude.

  • Availability to commence internship in January or February.

Job Type: Internship (Full-time) 

Schedule: Monday to Friday - (9:00am - 6:00pm)

Work Location: In person
