Werms.Inc – Operations and Education Intern

Werms.Inc is an insect farm that upcycles food waste into insect protein for the pet feed industry and fertiliser for plant hobbyists. We provide live pet feed and conduct frequent workshops/events to educate consumers on our food waste situation and the sustainable use of insects.

As part of our farm ops, you are required to:

• Manage day to day operations. and ensure orders are fulfilled accordingly.
• Keep track of production volume to foresee any potential lapse in supply and demand.
• Keep track of orders and update order status within the system.
• Schedule deliveries with couriers through the system.
• Perform QC on the production of insect-based pet feed and fertilizer.
• Monitor and manage inventory, and request for procurement where necessary.
• Ad-hoc support for the conduct of workshops
• Have strong product knowledge across all our SKUs

The right candidate should possess the following:

• Strong sense of responsibility, high standards of quality and expectations.
• Fine workmanship, meticulous, and good with delicate hands-on work.
• Possess a keen eye for forecasting logistical needs and spotting potential hiccups in the supply chain
• Loves sustainability and community building
