Weber Shandwick, one of the world’s leading global public relations firm, is looking for talented, enthusiastic students to intern in our Singapore office from NOW to December 2018 or longer. Our internship is a full-time, paid program designed to complement and enhance academic studies through participation in different assignments and professional responsibilities. We are looking for qualified intern applicants for our various practice groups who will work on a variety of client projects across sectors including healthcare, consumer, sports, and more.


For successful candidates, the internship with Weber Shandwick provides real-life work experience and an excellent learning/networking opportunity. Daily responsibilities will include managing and developing media lists, running media monitoring, developing editorial and speaker calendars, compiling media reports and development of briefing materials. Additional areas of learning include media relations, event support, digital and social media coordination and content generation, as required.


Candidates should also be familiar with a variety of social platforms (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.) and the latest news and trends impacting these channels.

PR Interns (Avail To Start Immediately)


Qualified candidates must:

  • Be willing to learn, take directions as well as taking on individual responsibility for large-scale projects
  • Possess a ‘can do' attitude to thrive within a dynamic environment
  • Be adept at mining news for relevant content/trends
  • Work well under deadline
  • Have excellent organizational skills
  • Be willing to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Be a strong team player but also able to work independently
  • Have strong verbal and written English skills (proficiency in an Asian language a plus)
  • Have passion for digital and social media, a plus
  • Able to commit to an internship for six months
  • Must be able to work in Singapore without any work visa sponsorships
