Job Description

This role focuses only on one client within Weber.

Assists in the development and implementation of content on websites for our client. Works within a Content Management System (CMS). 

Responsible for integrating work of writers and designers to produce a final layout compatible with corporate standards. 

Good  to have basic knowledge of HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. May require the creation of job aids and on-demand training.

Responsibilities

  • Manage content for organizations media web presence (requires working with content management software)
  • Manage global CMS authors and provide training
  • Work with a cross-departmental team, maintain and develop news feeds
  • Manage and trouble shoot global media web site issues with vendors
  • Manage media registration globally
  • Support various GM Communications teams (Internal, Retiree, PR, etc.)
  • Track and report on all site metrics
  • Manage metrics users and training
  • Develop video assets and train video authors
  • Support emerging technology initiatives
  • Provide strategic support for the creation of information sharing policies and procedures
  • Manage DAM assets within CMS
  • Provide analytics insight
  • Support customer engagement via mass email and SMS
  • Participate in global governance teams


Basic Qualifications

  • Minimal Diploma in Communications, Media, Marketing, Community and/or Public Relations, Journalism or a related field.
  • Strong project coordination skills with the ability to manage and complete multiple tasks within tight and shifting deadlines.
  • Can demonstrate the ability to lead, motivate and stimulate others to achieve goals
  • Strong research skills with the ability to organize information and present results to the client.
  • Attention to detail in developing high quality results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and work in a fast paced team environment.
  • Ability to deliver a proactive, energetic, and innovative approach
  • Fresh graduates with keen interest in digital content management and prefers to be in less client-facing role is encouraged to apply.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge/interest in digital media technology and trends.
  • Experience developing and executing project plans and communications strategies.
