Warner Music Singapore is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, passionate and energetic intern capable of working on across artist management, domestic marketing and A&R pillars of the label.
You should have a general understanding of the music industry, an awareness/ interest in music-focused media, important and influential brands, domestic and international music landscape, emerging new artists, venues and locales of interest.
You will learn crucial skillsets, gain valuable experience and this opportunity offers an excellent foundation for individuals who are committed to pursuing a career in the music business.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Keen interest in the music industry - Understanding of artist management, copyright, music publishing and digital marketing from either professional or personal experience are great bonuses
- Enjoys listening to music, especially domestic English repertoire (Mandarin is a bonus!)
- Proficient in writing, editing and proofreading skills in English (Mandarin is a bonus!)
- Intermediate skillsets with Photoshop (graphic design) and Premiere-Pro (video editing)
- Knowledge of social media platforms especially YouTube and TikTok
- Excellent in communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and meticulous with numbers and fine print
- Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects
- Street smart and pop-culture savvy
- Has great initiative and willingness to learn
- Ability to juggle both desk-bound administrative duties and on-ground activities
- Able to work independently
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Day-to-Day Administrative Support
- Market research
- Data management, collection and analysis
- Collation of artist’s tools and assets
- Assistance with on-ground artist management events and activities (e.g., liaison at events, media interviews, photo shoots, etc.)
- Scheduling meetings, arranging calls, taking meeting minutes, monitoring execution of to-dos
- Social Media Management & Marketing Support
- Management of social media accounts (i.e., YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Weibo)
- Procure content (lifestyle, show footage, etc.) and set up official announcements while still retaining the artist’s unique voice
- Content creation and curation for artists’ posts
- Assist with design work for ad placement collaterals and social media artwork
- Assist with video editing work for social media and promotional video content
- Planning and execution of domestic marketing activities
- Metadata/Database/Publishing Administration
- Release metadata management and administration
- Administrate publishing and backend paperwork
