Volvo Group Singapore Pte Ltd – Intern (Pricing Analysis)

Reports To: Price Manager 

 Purpose of the Job:

• The Trainee will learn about the values and working culture of the Volvo Group.
• He / she will also gain an understanding of the truck industry and its competitive landscape
• He / she will assist in streamlining processes and reports to strengthen analysis and insights of UD Trucks price positioning in emerging markets
• He / she will contribute towards improving communication related to price management

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Monthly price reports
• Design Qlikview dashboards for business intelligence & data visualization
• Design database for data analytics
• Other ad hoc projects, reports and support

Requirements:

• Interest and curiosity to explore the automotive industry, emerging market and international economics
• An analytical mind capable of simplifying complex information and identifying patterns.
• Creative problem-solving skills and willingness develop new ways to explain, explore and visualize data.
• Interest in sales and marketing operations.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, specifically Powerpoint and Excel.
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Fluency in English. .

Education:

• Diploma/Degree in Business, Strategy, Economics or related disciplines
  Knowledge of market research and data analytics is preferred

Internship can be on part-time or full-time basis.
