Found in 2009, Vitcomm provides electronic system design services in the area of IoT edge computing and embedded system where system performance and constraints are critical. These critical parameters can be power consumption, physical footprint, performance, functionality, cost and reliability.

We are specialized in designing application-specific electronic devices tailored to meet your requirements. We are experienced in designing battery operated and secure IoT devices, FPGA (Altera/Xilinx) implementation for communication PHY and embedded platforms (both bare metal and embedded linux-based).

Our standard product line includes text inserter for POS, visitor intercom, and PWD (person with disability) monitoring and call system.

Electronics Engineering Assistant/Support Engineer — Full Time Position

Job Description:

- Perform production PCB board testing

- Diagnose and repair faulty boards

- Create BOM for PCB assembly, sourcing and liaise with contract manufacturer.

- Track and manage project and production materials

- Setup test environment and fabricate simple test circuit

- Assist engineer to carry out continuous improvement projects by evaluating new technology and its potential in current market trends

Job Requirements:

- Able to perform fine pitch soldering like TQFP and QFN packages

- Able to understand schematics, simple circuit operation and familiar with electronic components

- Able to use electronic test equipment like oscilloscope, bench power supply and signal generator

- Enthusiastic in electronic circuits, design and programming

- A good team player

- Diploma/Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant experience

- Only Singaporean and PR need apply

Additional Requirements (Bonus)

- Some hands-on experience on EDA tools like PCB CAD/CAM software

- Had played with open source hardware and software like Raspberry Pi and Arduino

- Had done some electronic-related projects, either from scratch or open source, as a personal interest
