Job Description

Our Platform business is integrated with hundreds of retailers, key advertisers globally and the leading smartphone brands of the world and to build upon our success, we are seeking a Merchant Operations Intern, who will assist in dealing with merchants who are on board the ViSenze Platform. You will play a key supporting role in ensuring that all the merchants are properly on-boarded with timely and accurate tracking of user purchases, commissions as stipulated in our agreements with these merchants.

This position will have the opportunity to work closely with the Head of Platform and multiple stakeholders with various levels of involvement in Business Operation to drive process success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Merchant Operations:

  • Assist with integration for new merchants, by working with them directly or via Affiliate Platforms / Networks
  • Assist with setting up new merchant stores, integrate the product data and affiliate tracking on our internal systems
  • Correspond with external and internal parties to streamline on-boarding process of merchants
  • Assist with performing quality assurance checks on critical elements including product listings, conversion tracking on merchants, deep-linking, merchant transactions, commissions, payments
  • Run test orders to ensure proper tracking of commission and cashback
  • Assist with troubleshooting breaks in commission / cashback reporting
  • Assist with user experience and user interface improvements in relation to being rewarded as a customer on our platform
  • Assist with merchant-related customer service queries
  • Seek to constantly improve and streamline operational processes

Merchant / Network Management:

  • Validate clicks, conversion reports and reconciliation for merchants via the various affiliate platforms
  • Work with Finance team to handle invoice process flows, invoice requests and overdue invoice follow-ups
  • Work with Ops and Finance in order to identify process improvements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Students in their Penultimate year or later
  • Strong analytical skills – ability to come up with insights based on data
  • Good organizational skills, meticulous and adherence to operational due diligence
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Competency with standard office software such as Microsoft Office (Excel) and Google spreadsheets etc.
  • Ability to commit to a full-time position for at least 3 months
