Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individuals to be part of our VF family as Assistant Store Manager. Reporting to the Area Manager/Retail Manager, the successfully shortlisted candidate will be responsible the deliver the VF brand promise to customers and stakeholders while upholding The VF values.

Other Key Responsibilities include:

Retail Development

  • Responsible to lead, manage and develop a team of store staff, and responsible for their appraisal

  • Responsible of the store profitability by managing headcount usage, overtime usage and other retail expenses

  • Optimize sales though effective implementation of business strategies

  • Identify and implement new initiatives for improving services standards

  • Motivate and drive the sales team to achieve their individual and store KPIs, include plan and assign the monthly duty roster

Retail Operations

  • Maintain smooth operations of store management

  • Provide training and coaching on product and customer service to staff

  • Achieve monthly and annual store sales target

  • Sell and promote store merchandise with professional customer services to achieve sales target

  • Ensure proper visual merchandising is maintained according to company guidelines, both in the window and in-store displays

  • Monitor and ensure monthly target for VIP membership recruitment to be achieved (if applicable)

  • Monitor and ensure monthly Mystery Shopper Program targets set by the Company to be achieved.

  • Ensure all POS functions are performed accurately

Inventory Management

  • Ensure stock-keeping and housekeeping duties are completed on a daily basis.

  • Facilitate physical transfer of products/supplies between stores.


Requirements:

  • Secondary qualification or above is preferred

  • At least 5 years working experience in retail environment with at least 3 years managerial experience

  • Able to converse in English and knows Mandarin or another languages (as required communicate with our customers)

  • Possess strong leadership qualities with excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Is genuine, possess pleasant and cheerful service attitude

  • Good learning attitude

  • Enjoys engaging, working with and serving people

  • Must be a self-motivated team player with positive attitude

  • Must possess high initiative and demonstrate pro-activeness

  • High sense of responsibility

  • Good interpersonal skill

  • Good Team Player

  • Completed NS for male applicants
