Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the young and dynamic team at Singapore Yacht Events Pte Ltd, which is the organiser of the most successful yacht show in the region, as well as an increasing portfolio of other lifestyle events in Asia.

We are looking for a highly motivated & determined individual to continue, and increase, the growth of the business. This role will comprise of building creative sponsorship sales solutions to hit sales targets.


ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

As Sales Executive, you will primarily be responsible for delivering exhibition and sponsorship sales across multiple verticals using a consultative needs based approach.

You will be expected to drive new business as well as maintain and develop key relationships with clients regionally, and understand the vital importance of meeting qualified clients face to face. You will also be a team player who is driven by growing a business and delivering to your clients.

Naturally, you will maintain a strong business development focus, where you will be proactive in identifying and developing new business opportunities.

Finally, you will have the opportunity to work with a vibrant team, in a very open and engaging environment with people who are passionate about yachts and the lifestyle that comes with it.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • At least 2 years proven track record in sponsorship, advertising or exhibition sales.
  • Attention to detail with sales update/report, quotations and sales enquiries
  • Self disciplined, pro-active and able to work under minimum supervision
  • Ability to build strong professional relationship with clients
  • Excellent communication and networking skills
  • Enthusiasm, initiative and above all a great sense of humour!

Desirable

  • Multi lingual capabilities would be an advantage
