Vertex Holdings is a Singapore-based venture capital investment holding company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings. We focus on venture capital investment opportunities in the information technology and health care markets through its global network of six venture capital funds. Across our network of funds, we manage over $3 billion in AUM and has invested in more than 200 start-ups globally. Today, the Vertex network has over 90 professionals globally, with offices based across China, Israel, Singapore, India, Indonesia and the United States.
Position Summary:
We are currently working on an internal software with a core Vertex AI & Tech team and our Tech Partner in France. This is a very exciting time for us as we embark on the use of AI & ML in software development for VC use cases.
This software intends to augment and accelerate the capabilities of our analysts, partnership group and investment teams by implementing many innovative technologies, in particular:
- Information aggregation
- Meta-search engine
- Semantic crawling
- NLU, including text categorization, entity and relationship extraction, word embedding, semantic distance
- Graph database and analysis
- Deep learning
There would be opportunities for interns to be part of the team at either of the following levels:
