For this role, we’re seeking a motivated individual who is passionate about marketing and has had multi marketing experience with strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with the Partners, Investor and Investment team to drive the communication and marketing activities of the firm and as able to be the marketing co-ordinator for the firm.
- Manage the brand’s LinkedIn profile and social media platforms – sourcing relevant content and be responsible for the social medial postings to establish thought leadership in Travel & Hospitality, posting brand updates.
- Be able to prepare content for newsletters and investor updates
- Plan and execute virtual and in person events.
- Develop an understanding of the Travel & Hospitality segment across South East Asia, by supporting the establishing of the community of; key influencers, players, decision makers and relevant media by country.
- Create and design templates and assist with the preparation of presentations & workshops (e.g. pitches, internal updates, strategy workshops and other internal or external presentations).
- Assist with content update for the Velocity Ventures website.
- Regular investor communication – developing newsletters, managing and executing the calendar of events.
- Monitor the in-house CRM system tracking investor satisfaction & engagement.
Job Requirements:
- Full time role, with a minimum commitment of at least 6 months (June 2023 to December 2023).
- Prior experience in several of the following areas: marketing & brand building, PR and communication, digital and design, CRM management.
- Prefer second year and above undergraduates/postgraduates with a marketing specialisation.
- Excellent written & spoken English, a flair for content development and digital and social media savviness (especially on platforms like LinkedIn).
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel. Design skills would be an advantage.
