Varsity Holdings – Business Development Intern (Fintech / AI Trading Platform)

Role Overview

This is not a “do slides and research” internship.

You will be directly involved in sourcing, pitching, and closing partnerships that drive real users, revenue, and distribution. Expect to work closely with founders and own outreach pipelines end-to-end.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and reach out to potential partners (trading communities, KOLs, universities, fintech platforms)
• Build and manage outbound pipelines (LinkedIn, email, Telegram, Discord, etc.)
• Pitch our product and value proposition clearly to different audiences
• Support partnership deals (negotiation, onboarding, execution tracking)
• Develop growth ideas (campaigns, collaborations, distribution hacks)
• Maintain CRM / tracking of leads, conversations, and conversions
• Assist in GTM strategy and market expansion initiatives

Who We’re Looking For

• Strong interest in fintech, trading, startups, or AI
• Comfortable with sales, outreach, and rejection (this is critical)
• Clear communicator — can pitch ideas simply and convincingly
• Highly proactive — you don’t wait for instructions
• Resourceful — able to figure things out independently
• Bonus:
  • Experience in trading / finance communities
  • Prior BD, sales, or startup experience
  • Existing network (KOLs, communities, uni clubs)
