Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation (VIS) is a leading specialty IC foundry service provider. After the one-year transfer period, VIS will take over full operation and management of the fab in 2020, which will become the fourth Fab of VIS, as well as the first overseas fab of VIS. VIS has reached maximum capacity in 2018, and its customers expect the company to expand to satisfy growing demands. This acquisition of asset is projected to increase the annual capacity of VIS by 400,000 8-inch wafers, demonstrating the determination and commitment of VIS to expand capacity.

Intern, Integration Engineering (INT1) (2 openings)
Key Project:
(1) Potential Lot System Automation
*Worked in state of art Semiconductor company providing contract manufacturing in wafer fabrication.
*Will be attached in Process Integration department and trained in basics in semiconductor manufacturing.
*Work closely with Integration engineers to identify, design, and implement internal process improvements with RPA or Power BI: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery
(2) Auto TE System Development
*Worked in state of art Semiconductor company providing contract manufacturing in wafer fabrication.
*Will be attached in Process Integration department and trained in basics in semiconductor manufacturing.
*Work closely with Integration and IT engineers to develop Auto TE system for auto inline QC rate control based on real-time WIP status.
1. Coordinate with engineers across different departments to assist with automation requirements/needs
2. Continuously validate solutions and suggest improvements
3. Assist with the team's day-to-day activities, ensuring tasks are executed timely and effectively
Learning Outcomes:
1. Able to build up RPA project to assist engineer daily work / Develop automation system for inline QC rate control
2. Able to understand process flow
3. Able to understand and troubleshoot for WAT issues
Requirement:
1. Diploma / University (preferred) student with engineering or computer science/programming background
2. Proficient in MS Office, RPA tools or Power BI, and programming
3. Possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills
