We are a new but growing UX design group working closely with an established technology partner in Singapore.  We work on private and public (gov’t) websites, technologies, mobile apps, and events including AR/VR. 

Job Description

As a UX designer, you are passionate in defining and driving the future of great design, visually appealing while functional and intuitive. You will help identify and set strategy and plans, empathize with users, envision complex UX solutions for the stakeholders and inspire teams to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You envision the future of an improved user experience and pursue forward-thinking design. 

You should be ambitious, hard-working, determined, detail oriented, organized, communicative entrepreneurial individual with desire to learn, work, grow with the business while having fun.  In this role, you will apply your passion for brand, craft, and design fidelity to guide research and design processes, collaborate with talented team members including designers, developers, and project leads, to create innovative experiences for our wide range of clients. 

You are a great design thinker and problem solver - with strong instincts and outstanding intuition. Our ideal candidate has a strong sense for clean design, is a fierce advocate for the user, and is committed to creating elegantly simple user experiences from otherwise complex workflows. You also take the time to understand not just the execution side of design, but the business aspects of the project.


Responsibilities

  • Provide organization, determination, and collaboration with other designers; provide creative and holistic thinking across diverse projects, platforms, and devices.

  • Be responsible for and effectively advocate for users in a fast-paced climate, imparting day-to-day design thinking that fosters a shared understanding of the user-centric intersection between design, content, business, and engineering.

  • Be immersed in, excited for, and be inspired by innovative technology such as AR/VR. 

  • Be a team player, quickly adapt to project methodologies and be ready to take on work when needed.  

  • Develop detailed wireframes, user flows, analysis, and prototypes to effectively communicate designs and product requirements

  • Define, develop, and document all front-end design requirements for projects 

  • Work seamlessly with the Creative design department to develop and maintain site branding and visual design

  • Project coordination

  • Research

  • Customer Journey / Storyboarding 

  • Persona Creation

  • Competitive Analysis

  • Google Analytics Review

  • Content Inventory Review

  • User Flows

  • Stakeholders and Users surveys, workshops, and interviews

  • Card Sorting workshop

  • Information Architecture

  • Usability Testing

  • Wireframing and Building Working Prototype

  • Documentation


Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 months of experience (projects, education, etc.) in UX Design 

  • Portfolio of UX-focused work samples for web and mobile applications.

  • Effectiveness in working across organizational boundaries to communicate and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills; the ability to communicate complex interaction and innovative concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences.

  • Proficiency in prototyping (Sketch) or graphic software (Adobe) as well as Powerpoint, Word, Excel equivalents. 

  • Results-driven, able to initiate and lead projects; work autonomously and multi-task in a dynamic environment

  • Outstanding communication, presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Passionate, positive, and loves building delightful products alongside a like-minded team
