Job Description

Strategy Intern 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategic recommendations based on a combination of third-party evidence and primary research
  • Synthesize quantitative and qualitative information intelligently
  • With support, drive individual workstreams to completion, either independently or under supervision
  • Co-operate effectively with other team members to integrate findings from different workstreams
  • Translate strategy into deliverable plans
  • Prepare, review with superior, and deliver client presentations
  • Review and summarize company websites (offerings, business models, etc), analyst reports, client documents, and industry trade press
  • Assist in the production and development of research summaries, expert reports, and the presentation of findings
  • Receiving coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset
  • Analysing economic and financial data using spreadsheets and databases ensuring the integrity and accuracy of analyses
  • Conducting industry, market structure, and competitor-positioning studies
  • Performing a broad range of quantitative consulting tasks such as market sizing, electricity savings models, database management, etc

Requirements/ Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Analytical, highly-motivated individual majoring in engineering, economics, mathematics, physics, or another quantitative discipline.
  • Have good knowledge of economic and financial concepts, research experience, quantitative ability, exceptional written and oral communication skills, and a high level of initiative.
  • Experience in data and analysis to solve problems.
  • Effective time management and prioritize tasks and take pride and ownership in their work.
