Job Description

Overall Job Objectives

As a Finance Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to the financial operations of the company. You will work closely with the finance team to support various financial processes and projects. This internship is designed to provide you with exposure to different aspects of finance and enhance your understanding of financial management within a corporate setting.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assist in financial data analysis and reporting by collecting, organizing, and interpreting financial information.
  • Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Help with the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in conducting financial research, analyzing market trends, and preparing reports on findings.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of financial processes and procedures.
  • Help maintain financial records, files, and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Assist in ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as assigned by the finance team.

Job Specifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
  • Knowledge of financial principles and accounting practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Prior internship or relevant work experience in finance or accounting is a plus.
