TwinMatrix is a spatial technology company building digital twin and mapping infrastructure for real-world environments. Our work sits at the intersection of CAD, GIS, indoor mapping, operational dashboards, and spatial data platforms.
We work on projects involving large and complex spaces such as airports, buildings, campuses, and other operational environments. Our platform supports map visualization, editing, routing, spatial analytics, and integration with enterprise systems. This means we often work with floor plans, CAD drawings, geospatial data, asset data, and map layers that need to be cleaned, structured, and prepared to a high standard.
We are looking for people who are detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working with technical drawing data in a structured production workflow.
We are hiring a CAD Drafter to support CAD preparation, formatting, and cleanup work for map import workflows, with potential involvement in map editing tasks as well.
This role is mainly focused on taking client-provided CAD drawings and preparing them so they are usable for downstream mapping and digital twin workflows. In many cases, raw drawings are not immediately suitable for import and require cleanup, standardization, layer organization, simplification, and formatting adjustments.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and format CAD files for import into mapping or spatial platforms
- Organize, rename, and standardize layers, blocks, linework, hatches, text, and symbols
- Remove unnecessary elements, duplicates, fragmented geometry, and drafting noise
- Ensure drawings are structurally clean and usable for downstream processing
- Align files to required standards, templates, naming conventions, and formatting rules
- Support conversion of floor plans or building drawings into map-ready source files
- Make minor to moderate map edits when needed, depending on project requirements
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand formatting requirements and fix issues quickly
- Flag problematic source files, inconsistencies, or ambiguities before they affect import workflows
Good Fit For This Role
- Strong experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD drafting software
- Good understanding of layers, blocks, polylines, hatches, xrefs, and drawing cleanup
- Careful and detail-oriented, with a strong eye for consistency
- Able to follow formatting standards and repeat structured workflows accurately
- Comfortable handling large batches of drawings and repetitive formatting tasks
- Able to communicate clearly when files are messy, incomplete, or need clarification
- Prior exposure to floor plans, indoor mapping, built environment drawings, or spatial workflows is a plus
- Experience with GIS, map editing, or geospatial workflows is a plus, but not mandatory
