For our strategic segment “Industries 4.0” (I4.0) we are currently looking for a proactive and driven trainee, to support our I4.0 advisory and solutioning services. The intern will gain a comprehensive understanding of the I4.0 concepts and associated ecosystem and undergo a learning experience in I4.0 transformation roadmap development and implementation. The incumbent will report to our I4.0 Service Delivery Team Lead, based at our Centre of Excellence located in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities: • Expand the existing database of I4.0 technology partners and solution providers. • Participate in interactions with select I4.0 technology partners and solution providers to understand and assess their background, solution details and implementation capabilities. • Support the I4.0 service delivery team in working with manufacturers for adopting new technologies and processes to improve automation, connectivity and intelligence. • Work alongside with the I4.0 service delivery team to assess manufacturing processes and systems, identify pain points and gaps, and conduct relevant analysis. • Assist with analytical support in developing implementable I4.0 roadmaps. • Related duties assigned by the I4.0 Service Delivery Team Lead.
Key Requirements: • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field. • Experience in manufacturing operations, information technology, operation technology, or data analytics will be advantageous. • Knowledge of latest techniques in data analytics, AI and factory automation will be a plus. • Team player who possesses good learning agility, being proactive and driven. • Ability to work in B2B international organizations and multi-cultural teams. • Strong organizational and presentation skills and good command of English – both oral and written. • Outgoing and positive attitude, independence, and high level of integrity.
