Tutor City – SEO / Digital Marketing Intern

Tutor City is an established online tuition agency since 2010 and we are seeking for a digital-savvy person to help us with the development of our new web portal.

We are in the business of matching of tutors and teachers for home, tuition centres and companies. Our coordinators work from home and currently the tutor database comprise of 22,000+ tutors and we have served more than 6000 clients since 2010.

What you are expected to be doing:

• Implement link-building strategies, on-page optimization, and keyword research
• SEO tasks – meta tags, content optimization, content optimization, content refresh etc
• Analyze links using various tools to determine, good/bad link profiles for link-building initiative
• Create small pieces of content when required for SEO optimization
• Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
• Implementing the basic SEO changes on live pages with the content management system
• Writing and conceptualising education-related articles for our blog
• Content Marketing knowledge is a plus.

Traits that you are likely to have:

• A strong grasp of basic writing principles and good command of English
• Eagerness to learn, innovate and able to demonstrate creative yet logical perspectives
• Enthusiastic about working on tuition or education-related content
• Experienced in writing online articles; preferably have a writing portfolio (including any school assignments, news articles)

Knowledge that will help in the job:

-Pursuing a degree/diploma in marketing/advertising, literature/journalism, web development, web design etc.

- Competent with analytics and SEO software, including (but not limited to) Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush etc.
