Tutor City is an established online tuition agency since 2010 and we are seeking for a digital-savvy person to help us with the development of our new web portal.
We are in the business of matching of tutors and teachers for home, tuition centres and companies. Our coordinators work from home and currently the tutor database comprise of 22,000+ tutors and we have served more than 6000 clients since 2010.
Location: Sembawang - Proxima@Gambas, 50 Gambas Crescent, Singapore 757022 Working Hours: Monday to Friday 10am – 7pm
Duration: 3-4 months
Pay: $600-$800 (depending on experience and qualifications)
Responsibilities:
1. Website-testing
Perform UAT activities and execution of test cases
Log defects and errors identified during the testing
Suggest improvements to User Interface (UI) and user experience (UX)
2. Database Administration
Contact tutors via email/SMS/phone call and update records in our database
3. Web Design & Content
Create or find attractive images to be used in our website.
Write simple articles for our content pages and blog or improve the existing one
4. Other related admin work
Any other admin tasks and jobs required in our office
Requirements:
- Proficient in English and Microsoft Office
- Able to work independently and task-oriented
- Not afraid of dogs! We have a small dog in our office
- Prior IT background in UI/UX or UAT testing experience will be an added advantage
