Tsao Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for senior citizens in the community. This role supports the day-to-day processing of Accounts Receivable (AR) activities and ensure accurate recording of receipts, timely reconciliation, and compliance with audit and documentation requirements. This is a part-time position and will be based in Tiong Bahru.
Key Accountabilities
Review and validate client and patient invoices and post accurate journal entries in a timely manner.
Record and process grants, donations, and miscellaneous receipts with precision.
Perform monthly reconciliations of AR sub-systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Ensure timely issuance of tax-deductible receipts (TDRs) to donors in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to audit queries.
Carry out ad-hoc finance duties as assigned, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Requirements
Diploma in Accountancy or an equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in Accounts Receivable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong competency in Excel.
Good time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
