Travel Writer Internship
We are looking for a Travel Content Writer/ Editor (Internship) to join our growing Travel Insider. The successful candidate will report to the Manager and support junior writers in the team to develop their writing skills and edit content to ensure high quality work is produced for our company. In addition, the candidate will be expected to contribute to brainstorming ideas for client pitches and new campaigns alongside members of other teams to help win new business and bring fresh ideas to our work.
Requirements:
1. Excellent grasp of the English language, grammar and spelling.
2. Ability to work quickly under pressure and to handle multiple deadline.
3. Flexible & adaptive writing style
4. Strong attention to detail and editing skills including the ability to provide feedback to the team.
5. Good communication and collaboration skills
6. Highly creative, team player, result oriented and has an ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment.
7. Preference will be given to those with a strong writing portfolio, bachelor’s degree and relevant work experience.
Skills requirement:
1. Ability to smartly interpret and understand travel experience from draft to finished deliverables ensuring all expectations are met.
2. Produce highly insightful articles & posts for all digital content platforms.
3. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material.
4. Proven knowledge and experience producing content for blog sites, social media, SEO, websites, email
5. Experience working with design teams to collaborate on creative work.
6. Required to know basic design fundamentals and be familiar with digital content management systems.
7. Independently brainstorm for ideas/suggestions to propel our clients’ brand presence and market share.
8. Pro-active with coordination & follow-ups on content schedules, approvals and uploads.
9. Sensible time management to ensure no backlogs.
