Job Description

Human Capital Intern

The Human Capital Intern provides support to the Human Capital Department on day-to-day HR functions. These include the areas of resourcing, employee engagement, remuneration and benefits, organizational development, learning and development and talent management.

The intern will also provide support to HR projects on the company’s newest talent management solutioning system.

 

Key Tasks

  • Provide support and contribute actively to HR projects on the company’s newest talent management solutioning system
  • Assist with learning and development such as course registration for funded training programs for staff
  • Assist with talent management processes including mid-year and year-end performance reviews
  • Plan, execute and assist in employee engagement activities, such as chit-chat and virtual workout sessions
  • Assist with the recruitment process: curate job postings, screen and contact candidates, onboarding
  • Other HR administrative duties: update staff information, review HR forms, draft contracts, filing, handle employee inquiries

  • Gain insight on the different HR functions in a company
  • Experience working on HR projects in partnership with external stakeholders
  • Learn about the recruitment, learning and development, total rewards and talent management processes of a company
  • Learn to plan and facilitate employee engagement activities

 

Requirements

  • Meticulous and resourceful
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Good organizational, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Keen interest in HR, talent management systems and collaborating in a start-up like environment
  • Undergraduate student majoring in Business Studies/Management/Human Resource Management/Marketing or equivalent
  • Able to commit full-time/part-time/combination for at least 3 to 6 months
