The Tiger Conservation Fund is embarking on a mission to carry out effective conservation activities possible to save the future of wild tigers. This conservation journey will identify conservation priorities, utilise best practices, and implement proven strategies to address the many challenges facing wild tigers today.
The Tiger Conservation Fund aims to build support wild tiger conservation projects across tiger range states in Asia, particularly in Malaysia.  

Together, the Tiger Conservation Fund will continue to deploy strategically focused financial and technical resources in order to save tigers in the wild by investing greater resources in on-the-ground tiger conservation initiatives which aims to increase tiger numbers over time.

Job Description

The internship will involve hands-on participation in the core activities of a Tiger Conservation Fund. You will learn and be exposed to all aspects of the project and be a key member of its operations.

You can expect close mentorship, as well as a wealth of interesting experiences that should serve well in pursuing your career.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct vigorous and extensive due diligence on wildlife industry and conservation prospects
  • Manage various projects simultaneously 
  • Lead in business development functions by building up website, marketing, and presentations
  • Participate in and take notes in meetings, functions, etc.
  • Work hand-in-hand with top management on live projects

Requirements:

  • Prefer candidates currently in 2nd , 3 rd , or 4th year at a top-tier undergraduate program
  • Team player and also able to work independently
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical and presentation skills. Position requires proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated, confident and positive individual who is result driven, detailed, a problem solver and a good communicator
  • Have a growth mindset, resilient and able to learn and relearn in a fast-paced environment
  • Good interpersonal skills and strong analytical skills
  • Fluent in English
