About the Role
The Corporate Development Summer Analyst position is based in our Singapore HQ and will report directly to the Corp Dev Associate. As part of the Corp Dev team, the role gives unparalleled exposure to a heavy weight C-Suite and high level business management. The role will primarily focus on:
Investor Relations - Work with the existing investors and the Board to provide updates, analysis and presentations about the business performance and strategy
Fundraising - Build pitch decks, models, investment thesis and comprehensive due diligence packages for prospective investors. Take ownership of the process from cradle to grave and execute on the nuances of venture deal making
M&A - Support tactical initiatives across Strategic & Financial Investments, Mergers, Acquisitions, Partnerships & Joint Ventures through data driven sector research, deal sourcing & analysis, comparables mapping and moat building potential
Due Diligence - Work independently and with third parties to support Legal, Commercial & Financial DD
Duration - 3 Months
Hybrid Work Model - 3 days WFH, 2 days Office
Commencement - Preference for candidates who can begin immediately
What We Would Like to See
Bachelors/Masters students from top universities with strong academics across years
Preference for Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Maths, Physics & Law Majors
Familiarity with Investment Fundamentals, Startup Business Models, Project Management, Research Skills, Deal Making Dynamics
Involvement in Finance, Consulting, Investment and Entrepreneurship clubs and societies in university is desirable
Prior internship experience in IR, Fundraising, M&A, DD, Research, Finance, Consulting is a strong plus
Candidates looking to break into Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Private Equity, Venture Capital & Entrepreneurship in the near future are encouraged to apply
