Since October 2011, Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THKMC) was incorporated as a charity with an IPC status to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large.

THKMC provides assistance to the various groups in our community through more than 60 programmes and services for the elderly and the sickfamiliespersons with disabilities, and children.  We help anyone in need with full respect to their race, colour, creed, language, culture and religion. We have more than 90 programmes and services, reaching out to more than 55,000 people in the community.

Job Description

Manager (Administration) is responsible for providing administrative support to the division in the areas of manpower planning and recruitment, employee relations, payroll administration as well as general administration.

  • He / She will manage a team of Centre’s admin support within the Division (Eunos, Chai Chee, Sembawang, DACs and PDC)

 

Duties and responsibilities

The core roles and responsibilities of Manager (Administration) in the Homes division are:

  • Handling Division payroll (except CPF submission) on monthly basis;
  • In charge of preparing bonus template for approval on yearly basis;
  • Assisting in recruitment for Division with HR Business Partner;
  • Writing papers to justify additional headcount beyond the approved staff establishment;
  • Writing of proposal for projects, funding, grants e.t.c.
  • Handling training matters for Division;
  • Leave administration for Division;
  • Facilitating staff engagement sessions on yearly basis;
  • Manage annual performance appraisal exercise;
  • Plan and budget manpower on an annual basis;
  • Manage on-boarding and off-boarding processes;
  • Handling staff grievances, disciplinary issues;
  • Procurement for Division, eg scrub uniforms, dietary management services, stationery etc.;
  • In charge of archiving and cataloguing HR Admin files and ready them for disposal when time comes;
  • Other ad-hoc tasks as and when required.

Qualifications

  • A general degree preferably in Business Administration

  • Preferably with experience in a VWO setting
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Interest in working with adults with disabilities
