Job Overview

As a Content and Brand Marketing Intern, you will be working closely with the Marketing team to produce content across Thryft’s social media channels to engage and grow the community. During the internship, you will specialise in one of the following areas: graphic design, videography/photography, or copywriting. As part of the specialisation, you will also focus on one of the relevant social media channels (e.g. FB/IG, TikTok, Blog and Newsletters) while supporting other channels when needed.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

Your responsibilities will differ slightly depending on the specialisation. Broadly speaking, they include:

  • Brainstorming and executing compelling and innovative content such as ad campaigns, community events, giveaways, and other book-related content
  • Managing and updating ideas for content calendar for the relevant marketing channels (e.g. FB/IG, TikTok, Blog and Newsletters)
  • Producing content primarily within your chosen specialisation (graphic design, photography/videography, or copywriting)
  • Liaising with external partners and influencers for the development of relevant content, if required

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum commitment of 3 months, including at least 1 month of full-time employment (40 hours per week)
  • Creative and innovative, willing to experiment and try new ways of doing things
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated and independent
  • Brand focused and customer-obsessed
