This Humid House Pte. Ltd. – Graphic and Visual Designer

THH explores many ways in which to communicate ideas and represent botanical elements in our practice.

These include hand sketches, collage and digital drawings in addition to computer-generated renders.

The Graphic Designer / Visualiser supports the design team in creating visualisations of projects, and the company with graphic design work.

This is primarily an office-based role with some involvement with events activations, especially when production is concerned. Site visits and creating measured drawings of venues are an integral part of the role. A background in floristry is not necessary, though interest in the subject matter is, of course, helpful.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to

● Supporting the design team in the visualisations of projects

● Assist in proposals and presentations by creating plans, renders, designs, illustrations and drawings using computer-aided design programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Rhino, Procreate etc.

● Creating production drawings for sets

● Execute ad-hoc graphic design work for the rest of the company where required

● Research and development of the best ways to visually present ideas, concepts and products with the objective of upgrading the professionalism of the company’s proposals and helping to convince the client

What we’re looking for

● 1 - 2 years of visualisation experience, but fresh grads with demonstrated skills are welcome to apply

● Proficiency in digital design programs - Adobe InDesign / Photoshop / Illustrator / SketchUp / Rhino / Procreate

● Creativity to think out of the box and a sharp eye for detail

● Comprehensive communication skills - We expect the right candidate to be able to understand our branding style and follow up with work in a timely and efficient manner

● A curious and open mind that is agile, flexible and always ready to adapt for improvement

This support role reports to the Head of Design and is aimed at those who believe a picture is worth a thousand words, and are looking to be an integral part of This Humid House’s continuing journey as a leading botanical design studio.
