Think Tank Studio is a curatorial studio that makes meaning in a complex world by crafting compelling stories and experiences.
We do this through our own products — current affairs and educational magazines Broader Perspectives, Present Perfect and Represent. We also help other organisations craft meaningful stories and experiences through our specialisations in research, content, design and communication.
We believe that if stories are told and platforms built to allow people to expand and reframe their observations and points of view, we can build the social and emotional capital crucial for an empathetic and inclusive society.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
You will work with our content team in researching, writing and editing for our special projects — translating content into compelling stories, visuals and learning experiences that resonate with different audiences.
If you’re a confident writer that has a strong voice, great attention to detail and are looking for opportunities to hone your craft, we want you! This is a paid internship for fresh graduates, with a minimum commitment period of 3 months.

- You enjoy editorial content and the creation of it for different audiences, purposes and forms.
- You value data and enjoy the process of identifying, processing and making meaning of it.
- You are curious. You read widely and seek avenues to learn more about what is happening in the world and how writing and content are crafted for different contexts.
- You care about craft. You believe in practice, learning from what’s been done out there, getting input from others and refining your work as important parts of the journey toward mastery.
- You are invested in the future of Singapore and Southeast Asia. You are plugged into broad technological, business, media and social trends in the region and are keen to develop insights in these areas.
THIS ROLE REQUIRES YOU TO:
- Create a range of editorial content for projects that include current affairs articles and infographics, language and literacy activities, and business thought leadership articles, as well as for communications and marketing/publicity purposes.
- Stay updated on local and regional current affairs and trends in technology, business, media and social issues.
- Learn to understand context and design’s impact on editorial content curation which is a big part of what we do.
