Theme International Trading is a subsidiary of a Hong Kong listed company. The fund focuses on market making to provide liquidity across different markets. In addition, Theme International Trading also employs strategies to capture market inefficiencies across different asset classes. The fund is seeking a suitable candidate to sharpen its trading tools and streamline operational processes.

Overall Responsibilities

• Build custom programs where applicable to individual traders or teams
• Integrate new APIs and find ways to improve micro-services processes and their efficiency
• Apply test-driven development and ensuring requirements are met
• Plan and document technical specifications for features or system design
• Ensure application projects are appropriately resourced and executed
• Find ways to better improve your performance in this function and its processes

Requirements

Background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics or related fields
Proficiency in at least two of the following: C#, C++, Python
Understanding of data structures, algorithms and optimization
Experience in APIs and real-time data/databases
Keen eye for detail and strong sense of programming logic and structure for best practices
Strong attention to detail and systematic approach to problem solving
