Job Description

Join a cutting-edge team at the intersection of artificial intelligence and healthcare. As a Research Engineer, you’ll develop and implement advanced AI algorithms to analyse medical images, improve diagnostic accuracy, and support clinical decision-making.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design and develop machine learning and deep learning models for medical image analysis (e.g., CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound) 
  • Preprocess and annotate medical imaging datasets 
  • Collaborate with clinicians, radiologists, and data scientists to define research goals and validate results 
  • Implement and optimize image segmentation, classification, and detection algorithms 
  • Contribute to the deployment of AI models into clinical workflows or cloud-based platforms 
  • Stay current with the latest research in AI, computer vision, and medical imaging. 

Required Skills & Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (students and interns are encouraged to apply).
  • Proficient programming skills in Python (C++ experience is a plus). 
  • Hands-on experience with PyTorch.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
  • Capable of working independently as well as within cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with human anatomy, image processing techniques, and medical imaging modalities (a plus).
  • Exposure to federated learning, explainable AI, or regulatory frameworks (e.g., FDA, CE) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a bonus.
