Requirements:
Have or studying for Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Business, Marketing, or Finance (High School Students or Undergraduate Students are encouraged to apply)
Flawless written & spoken English with good communication, copywriting & blogging skills
Go-getter attitude, willingness to take on a myriad of tasks
Hard-working, energetic, ability to prioritise work & keep to timelines
Passionate, adaptable, confident & sociable
Interest in working in any of the following: Commercial Law, Digital Marketing, Strategic Consulting, Management Consulting, Content Marketing, Funds Law, Intellectual Property, Financial Consulting, Technology Law, B2B Marketing, Employment Law, Startups, SMEs
Internship Responsibilities:
Marketing: Primarily focused on digital / online marketing initiatives, including website content, blog posts, social media management & presence. A passion for content writing is beneficial! (Email copy, blogs, website content etc). Great if you have experience doing marketing using any of the following: LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Web Posts, Email Marketing, Google Adwords, HubSpot, Constant Contact, MailChimp, SurveyMonkey, HootSuite, TweetDeck. You will learn how to plan marketing initiatives & to track & report on outcomes of marketing campaigns
Exposure to Vibrant Singapore Startup Scene: Participation at, & assistance with coordination & delivery of exceptional Upstart events, as well as planning & internal preparation team members attending external events (Which you may attend too!). Participation in some client meetings may be required
Business Development: Support Client Partners or Managing Director as needed, with research & communications as assigned. Duties may include research focused on potential or existing clients, partners & competitors
Project Management: Assist the Managing Director or Client Partners with internal or external projects as needed, may include record keeping, project planning & updates, management of timelines & reporting to senior management on the same
Receptionist / Bar Work: Assist as needed with greeting staff & clients, coordinating meetings, & offering visitors a range of both non-alcoholic & alcoholic beverages
Organization: Naturally organized & diligent. Experience with MS Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel
