Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and eager-to-learn Reservations Intern to support our Reservations team. This internship offers exposure to hotel systems, guest communication, and cross-department collaboration, giving you valuable insights into the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Reservations Intern, you will assist the team with daily operational tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Assist with daily reservations tasks such as processing new bookings, cancellations, and special requests.
  • Prepare and organize daily reports (e.g. pick-up, cancellations, no-shows, forecasts, arrival check, etc.).
  • Support communication with guests via phone, email, and online platforms (Booking.com, Expedia, Trip.com, etc.).
  • Learn how to check and update guest preferences and inclusions.
  • Work closely with Front Office and Sales teams to coordinate group bookings and manage inventory.
  • Gain exposure to upselling techniques and the link between reservations and revenue.
  • Assist with general administrative duties such as filing, archiving, updating records, and ensuring smooth operations.

Learning Opportunities

  • Exposure to hospitality systems and extranet platforms (Opera PMS, OTA extranets, internal dashboards).
  • Understanding the full reservations workflow from booking creation to guest arrival.
  • Develop analytical skills through report preparation, forecasting, and data management.
  • Build professional communication skills with guests and through inter-department collaboration.
  • Learn how reservations impact hotel revenue management and guest experience.
  • Gain insight into hotel operations and cross-department coordination.
  • Practice problem-solving in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Current students or recent graduates in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or related fields.
  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • A team player with a positive attitude and adaptability.
