Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a highly self-motivated individual who has a passion for videography and content creation along with strong ideation abilities to join our new Mandarin Channel.
As a video intern for the new Chinese Channel, you will be involved in all aspects of building the brand, from conceptualising, filming and editing.
The ideal candidate need to consume Tiktok, Douyin, Shorts and IG Reels as much as they consume water. You are required to already have basic video editing skills. It is a bonus if your portfolio includes some work that you've filmed outside of school.
Please note that this is a 6-month internship programme.
Main Responsibilities:
- Create, produce, and edit videos from pre-production to post-production.
- Generate on-brand, viral video content ideas.
- Proficiency in scriptwriting, directing, editing, and basic videography.
Requirements:
- Proficient in reading, typing, speaking, and comprehending Chinese
- Social media savvy
- Always on top of trends
- Avid Tiktok/Douyin user
- Bonus if you are proficient in Capcut, Adobe Premiere Pro, other Adobe Creative Suite softwares, Canva
What will you be doing?
A: Shooting & Editing Assignments
- Focus primarily on video assignments
- Assist in graphic design assignments
B: Social Media Management
- Handling new channel’s social media accounts (currently: IG, Tiktok, 抖音, 小红书).
- Collaborate with the teams to create viral content
- Engage with audience on social media
