The Smart Local Pte Ltd – Editorial Intern (TSL SG)

TheSmartLocal is an independent media publisher that locals trust for hyper-local information on what to do in and out of their country. We share this through the 4 biggest digital platforms in Singapore – our website, YouTube channel, Facebook page and Instagram. 

The intern will undergo a holistic journalistic experience at TSL, learning how to pitch ideas, attend media invitations, interview, communicate professionally at events, etc. The intern will pick up digital media skills such as SEO and basic image editing but the majority of the intern’s time will be spent writing.

Roles include but are not limited to:

• Put in the effort to ideate and pitch stories of quality to editors.
• Write articles consistent with the tone and quality of The Company’s articles.
• Attend events, tastings, and other out of office jobs that assist in the creation of articles.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
