Position Overview – Internship for a Contractor
We are engaging an AI Program Support Contractor (Internship) to work on clearly defined deliverables that contribute to the development of our educational AI platform. This is a project-based engagement with agreed deadlines and milestones, rather than fixed daily working hours.
The contractor will be responsible for delivering high-quality, organised literacy content for integration into our AI system. This includes the preparation, structuring, and categorisation of phonics rules, word lists, decodable text samples, instructional prompts, and teaching frameworks. Most deliverables will involve data entry and organisation using Google Sheets or Excel.
Note: As a contractor, you are responsible for your own income tax and Medisave contributions (if applicable), providing your own equipment/software to complete the work, and managing your time to meet all agreed deadlines and quality standards. You will not be entitled to employee benefits such as paid leave, CPF contributions, or overtime pay.
Project Deliverables & Milestones
The work will be structured around agreed deadlines, for example:
Week 1–2:
Input and organise agreed sets of literacy-related data (phonics patterns, decodable words, instructional strategies) into Google Sheets/Excel.
Submit first batch for review and feedback.
Week 3–4:
Structure educational content for AI use according to provided templates.
Apply tagging and categorisation for searchability.
Week 5–6:
Review and refine previous entries to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Deliver second content batch for approval.
By End of Project:
Provide all deliverables as per scope in final agreed format.
Submit a final quality review report.
Note: Project deliverables and timelines may be adjusted to meet evolving project needs. Any changes will be agreed upon before implementation. Most deliverables will require accurate, high-volume data entry using Google Sheets or Excel.
Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver content according to the project brief and milestone schedule.
Input, organise, and tag large volumes of data accurately in Google Sheets/Excel.
Ensure all data entries meet agreed quality standards for accuracy and consistency.

Ideal Contractor Profile
Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to tasks.
Proficient in Google Sheets and/or Excel, including sorting, filtering, and data validation.
