The Meteor Lab is a vibrant, cross-disciplinary innovation lab focusing on automation technology and the decentralised web. We develop world-class products and prototype innovative solutions for clients that add tangible value to their businesses, and disrupt traditional business ecosystems with fast-paced and innovative design.
We are a freshly established hybrid start-up entity under ST Logistics, with direct reporting to C-suite executives, and the objectives of creating new revenue streams in white spaces distinguished from current stronghold positions, focusing on emerging technology.
About the Role
As a member of The Meteor Lab team, you have the opportunity to be at the forefront of the company’s growth by pursuing business opportunities in emerging markets. This fast-paced pioneering team identifies, scopes, and validates new business opportunities that leverage strengths of our corporate partners and unfair capabilities of ST Logistics. We will be shaping and kick-starting the launch of new business - from identification of customer needs, to solution ideation, testing and validation.

What Your Role Would Look Like
There is no such thing as a “typical” day at The Meteor Lab - our philosophy is to ideate fast, create fast, and accelerate growth! That being said, below are some responsibilities you may find yourself taking up:
- Designing & drafting requirements for a new product or feature
- Executing research, strategic planning and implementation related to transforming current business
- Building strategic relationships & partnerships with external and internal stakeholders, working with them to develop innovative business product portfolios
- Projecting business results and discussing implications with management
- Generating leads for the product development pipeline
- Delivering ad-hoc tasks under the direction of The Meteor Lab team
About You
- Currently pursuing a university degree in business, information systems, or a mix of business-related disciplines
- Displays keen interest in emerging technology and related fields, particularly in advanced robotics, distributed ledger technology and/or decentralised finance (DeFi)
- Innovative, high energy, entrepreneurial self-starter who has experience taking initiative and owning end to end deliverables in a fast paced environment
- Possesses strong research, analysis, and financial modelling skills
- Quick learner who is able to translate newly acquired knowledge into actionable insights
- Possesses the ability and appetite for working in a start-up environment with flat hierarchy, direct collaboration and agile communication
