The Life Celebrant is hiring an media intern! Join the team. This internship will be 3 months (open to extension) from 1st May to 1 August 2019.  Interns will work Mondays to Fridays (8.30am to 5pm).  

This is a FULL-TIME & PAID Intern position  (SGD $500 per month) where we pay you to learn to manage our online presence! This position is ideal for those who are organized, creative and who have prior experience in photography, graphic design and video creation.

You will be working in Geylang Bahru Industrial Estate for a boutique funeral company that appears in the media very frequently. There is no other food or transport allowance provided. You will need your own laptop and smartphone for the day to day tasks. We are open to applicants of all ages, those who are no longer in education and of all experience levels.  

Role & Responsibilities

• Help monitor and manage the company's social media accounts 
•  Assist with the execution of our social media content creation – photography, photo editing, video editing  
• Assist with the company's influencer marketing efforts – monitoring current influencers and helping with outreach efforts to influencers  
• Offline assistance with the team for shows or events, if any requirements 
•  Excellent written and verbal communication, strong editing skills  
• Knowledge of photo or video editing software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or other graphic design software, etc. is a major plus
•  Knowledge of social media – Facebook, Instagram, YouTube 
•  Willingness to create content for blogs, write press releases, and Facebook posts 3 times a week  
• Energetic, with a desire to come up with fresh ideas on how to grow our online presence
•  Ability to identify a target market and “speak” to that consumer through social media
• Creating both creative contents for our social media channels, as well as documenting our events and projects
