The Learning Board specialises in teaching in English for the primary and secondary levels. It is in compliance with the MOE syllabuses. Small class size allows our teachers to dedicate time to understand each student's needs, strength and weakness. Proprietary SMART Sheets and Worksheets provide optimal knowledge absorption. Responsibilities
- Propose and implement lesson plans in accordance with the centre’s visions and policies
- Prepare practice questions in various topics
- Teach English, Maths or Science in an easy-to-understand and lively way
- Report on student progress and prepare a development portfolio for each student
- Stimulate an engaging learning environment that promotes life-long learning
- Moderate safety and hygiene in class
- Develop and maintain close partnership with parents
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in education or related fields
- Experience in teaching children in primary or secondary level
- Familiarity with the Singapore education system and major exams (PSLE, O-Level, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience towards the learning process of each student
- Ability to work independently as well as to collaborate with other teachers
